BWR_352_Outdoor

Outdoor IPX6 Enclosure Kit for the BWR_352 Industrial 4G Router

Key Highlights

  • Outdoor-ready IPX6 waterproof enclosure, built from UV-stabilised ABS (148 × 148 × 65 mm)
  • Drop your existing BWR_352 board straight in — same firmware, same features, no redesign
  • 3 × waterproof cable glands: 4G antenna, Wi-Fi antenna, power / serial / Ethernet cables
  • PoE adapter option — run power and data over a single Ethernet cable when no DC source is on site
  • Wall-mount bracket and pole clamp mounting (band clamp) for cabinets, poles and street furniture

Features & Benefits

IPX6 Outdoor Enclosure

Sealed IPX6 ABS housing with a moulded gasket keeps rain, hose spray and dust away from the router board, so BWR_352 can be deployed where cabinets are not available.

3 × Waterproof Cable Glands

Three glands provide watertight entries for the 4G suction antenna, the Wi-Fi suction antenna and the power, serial or Ethernet cable run — with strain relief on every cable.

PoE Adapter Option

Where a local DC source is inconvenient, add a PoE adapter and feed the router over the Ethernet cable itself — single-cable installation that reaches up to 100 m.

BWR_352 Board Inside

The same Cat 4 / Cat 1 LTE board, dual SIM failover, 5 × Ethernet, RS232/RS485 and DI/DO ports — only the mechanical envelope changes.

Wall & Pole Mounting

Four internal mounting bosses plus reinforced corner holes support wall-mount brackets and band clamps, so the unit fixes to walls, masts and poles.

Same Industrial Features

BWR_OS on OpenWrt 24.10, IPsec / OpenVPN / WireGuard, Modbus RTU polling, MQTT reporting and BW Cloud remote management all carry over unchanged.

Antennas Outside the Box

The magnetic-base 4G and Wi-Fi suction antennas mount on the outside of the enclosure and connect through dedicated glands, keeping RF performance while the board stays sealed.

PoE When DC Is Hard

If there is no convenient DC outlet on site, add the PoE adapter and power the router through the same Ethernet cable that carries the data — one cable, one gland.

Cable Routing

One gland for the 4G antenna, one for the Wi-Fi antenna and one for the cable run — 9-48 VDC power, RS232/RS485 serial or the Ethernet/PoE link, all watertight.
